Classic Spanish Red Clay Bole for Water Gilding.
Brilliant orange red shade similar to the historical classic Spanish Red.
Volume – 100 ml

Notes:

• Handcrafted by Sinopia.
• For use over traditional chalk gesso ground.
• Bole needs to be applied with rabbit skin glue solution.
• The red color beneath the gold leaf assimilates through the leaf.
• Red Bole accentuates and ‘warms’ yellow gold.
• When burnished, the rich creamy bole gives the gold leaf a lustrous shine.
